Call for Papers is Open: Speak at the Dutch AI Conference!

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how we build software and manage teams. Are you working on groundbreaking AI applications, machine learning models, or adapting developer workflows for an AI world? The Call for Papers for the Dutch AI Conference is officially open!

Alongside sister events Webdevcon, Appdevcon, and the Dutch PHP Conference, we expect around 1,000 attendees in Amsterdam.

We encourage people of all ages, races, genders, and religions to submit proposals for the upcoming conference. We would like to ensure everyone that our process of selecting the talks will be fair and transparent. With 30 to 40 speaking slots available, we welcome deep dives into AI tools, coding practices, architectural insights, ethics, soft skills, and team management in the modern AI augmented landscape.

Conference Dates: March 16 to 19, 2027 in Amsterdam
Main Conference Day for Dutch AI Conference: Thursday March 18th 2027
Expected Attendees: 1,000 professionals
Available Slots: 30 to 40 speaking slots

Session Formats and Levels

Keynotes: 35 minutes (appealing to the majority of the audience)
Standard Conference Sessions: 45 minutes (including Q and A)
Lightning Talks: 20 to 30 minutes (including Q and A)
Workshops: Half day (3.5 hours including breaks) or full day (7 hours including breaks)
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Tips and Submission Guidelines

Define exact topics: Ensure your talk title and abstract define the exact topic and what people will learn.
Include takeaways: Include 3 to 4 bullet points of what the audience will learn.
Keep titles short: Maximum 50 characters to ensure readability in print and on mobile schedules.
Include past work: Where available, include links to slides, joind.in reviews, or talk videos.
Maximize submissions: Submit up to 3 talks to increase your chances of selection.
Blind selection: Do not include hints to your identity in your abstracts to ensure a fair blind selection.
Formatting counts: Avoid typos, sloppy formatting, or all lowercase text. Keep abstracts under two paragraphs.
Original content: We favour original topics or existing presentations with a fresh twist or new research.
Co presenters: Multiple presenters are welcome, though travel budgets favour single speaker submissions.

Selected speakers enjoy full coverage of travel to Amsterdam (booked via our travel agent), airport transfers, hotel accommodations near the venue (1 night for locals outside driving distance, 2 nights for international speakers, 3 nights for workshop speakers), full conference access, an invitation to the exclusive speaker dinner, and access to the official after party! If your employer covers your travel and hotel, we will happily list them as a sponsor.
